Misty November day along California’s northern coast — Bodega Bay, California

I used to go and spend a week at a time in Bodega Bay. I considered it escape time for writing. I also ran bike and walking tours up and down the coast that would spend a night there. Absolutely love the area. BTW, it was where Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds was filmed.
On our trip there we travelled North as far as Mendocino. The northern California coast is indeed beautiful.

I’ve been there often in the fall, when all of the birds are gathering. Certainly reminds me of the movie. 🙂
