“Sur le Pont d’Avignon” is a French song dating back to the 15th century (The bridge itself dates to the 12th century), a song Ginette remembers well from her childhood. Here the bridge is seen at dusk from Pont Royaume, which connects Provence to Languedoc-Roussillon region over the Rhone.
